Terms and Conditions / Service Dog Agreement

By using our website and purchasing a service dog through us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

• My account information including name, email address, and phone number will not be shared with any third party

• Unless I have been given express confirmation that I qualify for a free or reduced cost dog, I will pay the full $8,000 before I pick up my dog.

• I understand that if I'm seeking financial help for my dog, I must provide proof of hardship. This proof will be removed from Aspie Dude's online platform as soon as transfer of dog ownership is complete.

• I understand that just because I'm asking for help doesn't guarantee I qualify. Applicants qualify at the sole discretion of Aspie Dude, and I may be rejected for financial assistance.

• I understand that a minimum $100 deposit is required to enter the queue for a dog to guarantee the buyer is fully vested in the process.

• I understand that I will not be assigned a dog to be tracked until I have paid the full $1,000 deposit unless I qualify for a free or reduced cost dog.

• I understand all payments towards my service dog are non-refundable.

• I understand that after creating an account, I have 30 days to submit proof an autism diagnosis, pay the $100 deposit, and, if I am seeking help paying for the dog, proof of hardship, or else my account is subject to deletion.

• I understand that I must provide proof of an autism diagnosis to qualify for a dog. As soon as Aspie Dude has the proof of diagnosis, Aspie Dude will remove the record of diagnosis from Aspie Dude's online platform. Proof of diagnosis must only be a letter from a physician, psychatrist, or psychologist and need not contain any specific details about the diagnosis.

• I understand that lying about an Autism diagnosis or financial hardship will be reported to the police and district attorney's office for prosecution. I agree that all documentation provided is true to the best of my knowledge.

• I understand that the purchase price of $8,000 includes breeding, raising, training, and socializing the dog including basic training and service dog functionality, including, but not limited to, Deep Pressure Therapy and notification of stimming behaviors.

• I understand that I may not get to choose the gender of my dog, and if I decline my dog due to gender, I will be placed back in the queue which could add additional months or years before I receive my dog.

• I understand that Aspie Dude has and will make good faith efforts to ensure a service dog is prepared for the public, and as such, I agree to not hold liable Aspie Dude to any incidents that occur after the transfer of ownership to the buyer is complete.

• Buyer at their own discretion may request that Aspie Dude periodically re-evaluate whether the dog is still viable as a service animal at a cost to the buyer.

• I understand that after I am assigned a dog, there is no 100% guarantee that dog will fully pass service dog training. Aspie Dude tries to ensure the dogs are satisfactory, but can not make a 100% guarantee. As a result, if a dog fails after being assigned, Aspie Dude will offer to the buyer the option to purchase the dog anyways, with the faults, without the service dog label at a reduced cost. If this occurs and the buyer wants a different dog, Aspie Dude agrees to place buyer at the top of the queue for the next batch of dogs. In the event Aspie Dude cannot place the buyer back into the queue, Aspie Dude agrees to refund the buyer all fees greater than the $1,000 deposit.

• I understand that it is up to me, the buyer, to reinforce the training my dog has recieved from Aspie Dude. I further understand that failure to reinforce the training might disqualify my dog from being a service animal.

• I agree to take care of my dog and treat them as a member of my family. I agree to regularly feed, bathe, and play with the dog.

• I agree to keep my dog INSIDE as a service animal and will not make them an outside dog or leave them in the weather.

• I agree that if I must get rid of my dog, I will reach out to Aspie Dude BEFORE giving my dog to a shelter or rehoming my dog. At this time Aspie Dude reserves the right to purchase back the dog, within 30 days, at the rate of $1,000. Aspie Dude may decline to take the dog, but must be given the opportunity to find the service dog a new home.

• I understand that support for my dog is offered free of charge for 60 days after rehoming. These sessions may be in-person or via video conference. After the 60-day window, buyer may still receive support, but will be charged an upfront rate of $60/hour.

• I understand that I may visit my dog before training is complete with 1 month notice to Aspie Dude. Since the dogs are training in a home, these visits might be at one of the following places in the Keller/North Fort Worth, Texas area:

  • A park

  • A dog park

  • A public place

• I understand that Aspie Dude will provide the following when I take control of the dog:

  • 1 Large Kennel

  • 1 Small Bag of Food

  • 1 Bag of Treats

  • 1 Grooming Brush

  • 1 Leash

  • 1 Folder with care and reinforcement instructions

  • 1 harness (If dog passed service dog training, this will be a red service dog vest. If not, it will be a regular harness)

  • 1/2 to 1 day of training on how to interact with your new dog.

  Any other items that are required for your dog's care will be purchased by the buyer.

• I agree that other product purchases from Aspie Dude such as, but not limited to, food, food items, training vests, training implements, leashes, and other items are not included in our fees and will be paid for at the time of purchase.

• This agreement shall be interpreted under the laws of the State of Texas
